Today we are going to create some beautiful art to hand on your wall.
You will need:
A canvas or a large piece of white card or thick paper
Washi tape or paper masking tape (not the heavy duty plastic stuff that is hard to peel of)
Paints (can be poster paints or water colours)
Paintbrushes and a cup of water to wash them in
Put down some newspaper or plastic sheeting in your work area so you don't make a mess
Steps:
1. Arrange strips of Washi Tape to criss cross all over your canvas
2. Paint in the gaps in a range of different colours
3. Wait for the paint to dry and then gently peel away the wash tape

If you want the strips covered by the washi tape you might wish to paint a background colour before applying the paint.
