Let's Learn British Sign Language

Sign language is used by the hearing impaired to help them communicate. There are several different sign languages, today we are going to explore BRITISH SIGN LANGUAGE or BSL. 

Watch this short documentary about a family who use BSL on a regular basis. It includes some statistics about the number of people with profound deafness is the UK, the last health census in Thailand estimated there are approximately 380,000 Thai people who also struggle with their hearing for a range of reasons.

Just like other languages, BSL has both an alphabet and then signs which represent full words.
