Step 1: Talk a walk around your neighbourhood and collect pretty flowers and leaves you like the look of. Those without a very large centre will press best. Make sure your flowers have no moisture on them or they will turn brown when pressed.
Step 2: Place the flowers flat between two sheets of baking paper, you can press just the head of the flower or keep it attached to it's stem - up to you.
Step 3: Please 4 - 5 big heavy books on top of the flowers.
Step 4: Leave the flowers for 1 week before checking on them.
Step 5: Carefully replace the baking paper with fresh paper and leave for a further week.
Step 6: Carefully remove the books and remove your flowers, use them in a range of arts and crafts.
