Much like the body, the mind needs exercise from time to time. So, why not enjoy a puzzle or a problem-solving game?

LI: Can I throw and catch with control?

Learning Task:

Warm up- Follow along to the Avengers Fitness Training- can you keep up?

Main task- Following on from our tee ball unit, you will practice your throwing and catching. Watch Mr Tatam’s video to give you some ideas. If you do not have any balls at home, some rolled up socks should do the trick.

If you’re looking for an alternative activity try going to the Primary PE Blog and have a look at the Virtual Home Learning section where you’ll find lots of different activities which will keep you active (Joe Wicks is always a good option). Alternatively why not take advantage of any outside space to enjoy some outdoor activity such as riding your bike, swimming or playing some outdoor games (don't forget to check the air quality first). It’s fun to play!

If you have read through the task and feel confident to start without your teacher. You can begin your learning. If you can have any questions join the call and ask your teacher.

LI: Can I locate services in my local area?

Learning Task:

  • Using Google Earth (https://earth.google.com/web/) find where you live.

  • Look at the local businesses and services near your house. Make a list of the services. Can you organise them into categories. E.g emergency services, leisure, food, transport, entertainment.

  • When finished, save your learning as a draft, so you can use it in your next CL lesson. You do not need to submit the learning yet.
