More than and less than

This week, 1T have been busy comparing numbers and discovering numbers that are 1 more and 1 less than a given number. They then investigated 10 more and 10 less too!

Well done to everyone for taking part in the November Mathletics Challenge but a special mention to these two superstars!! What an amazing number of points!! 

 In active start we have been extending old skills and developing some new ones too....

Continuing with our topic of light, 1T investigated shadows and how they were similar and how they were different.They used some tricky words too - opaque, translucent and transparent - to sort the objects they tested. We used this picture to help us remember them;
