Well-Being Calls
You should have received email communication from your class teacher regarding your wellbeing calls this morning. Please re-familiarise yourself with the reminders below:
Good Morning Nursery!
Below are some ideas for learning at home today. A reminder that you don't have to do all (or any) of these today. Maintaining a routine and a connection with school are the most important things!
Wake Up Shake Up
We wanted to wish you a very happy 'good morning' today, despite not seeing you in person!
Our Songkran Adventures!
We would love to hear about what you have been doing during the Songkran break, perhaps you were travelling to different parts of Thailand, or maybe you stayed at home and enjoyed family time in Bangkok. Did you celebrate the festival itself? If so, how did you celebrate?
Our teachers had a very busy time...Miss Jane and Miss Carol are really looking forward to hearing all about it on your well-being calls this morning.
Miss Sarah's Adventures in Koh Lipe!
To celebrate Songkran I enjoyed making Stupas on the beach and wearing my brightly coloured Songkran shirt too!
Could you make a video telling us what you did over the holiday and share it with your class teacher on ILD? Maybe you could share some photos, or draw some pictures too?
This week we are going to be...
Being a 'Little Explorer' can take many different forms and, just like our play, it is open-ended. Whatever your child is interested in, and wherever they want to take their inquiry, they are welcome to.
Learning from real life experiences is always a wonderful way to motivate children. They may wish to find out more about something they found interesting during the school break, or perhaps go out and explore their garden, park or wider environment. They might be interested in learning more about their family, community or a culture further afield.
To support your child in becoming a 'Little Explorer', read our Explorer themed stories resources, you can use these ideas to get you started, or go ahead and follow your child's existing interests.
Miss Sarah's Under the Sea Exploration...
The first thing an explorer needs to do is think of something that they are really interested in....It could be animals, dinosaurs, transport, volcanoes, outer space, nature, insects...anything at all.
Miss Sarah likes to discover what is under the sea in Thailand!
What is your favourite thing to learn more about?
Can you share your interests with your teachers on ILD?
Use these question words to help you...
Miss Sarah decided to learn more about what is under the sea in Thailand so she went in search of more information here:

Snack Time!
We challenge you to have fun with fruit this week! How many fun things can you make from fruit at snack time?
Physical Development
Create your own bowling game with a twist. Instead of using your arm to throw and roll a ball to hit the pins, use your foot. This is a wonderful game to practice your kicking skills.
Sensory Play
For today’s sensory play, try making some foam!
You will need:
- 2 tablespoons of dish washing soap, liquid detergent or baby soap.
- ¼ cup water
- A few drops of food colouring (optional)
- A mixer
Mix it all up for a couple of minutes and put it in a big container. Make as much as you need for your child to explore. If your child has sensitive skin, use baby soap.

Our stories this week are all 'explorer themed' to continue to support your child to generate new ideas.
Lunchtime!
Don't forget to help out at mealtimes. Can you set the table or clean the dishes?
