Small Group Learning Calls

Please check the email from your class teacher about the time of your child's Small Group Learning Call.

Don't forget, that during our calls:

  • we make sure a grown up is always nearby
  • we are fully dressed
  • we don't eat whilst on a call
  • we wait for our class teacher to start the call

Animal Allies

Just like us, our pets need a shelter to stay safe and warm. Finding the best home for your pet is an important part of showing your kindness. Think about your pet and what will make him/her feel safe. You may need to think about how some animals want to live in soft, cozy beds. Others would rather live outside with lots of space to roam. Some pets feel happiest in water and others want to stay dry.

Today, you might like to have a go setting up a space of your pet’s very own. Think about what kind of shelter will help them to feel safe and happy. For inspiration, here are a few ideas:

สัตว์เลี้ยงก็เหมือนคนต้องการที่พักพิงเพื่อความปลอดภัยและความอบอุ่น การหาบ้านที่ดีที่สุดให้สัตว์เลี้ยงเป็นส่วนสำคัญในการแสดงความมีน้ำใจ เด็กๆลองคิดถึงสัตว์เลี้ยงของเราและสิ่งที่จะทำให้มันรู้สึกปลอดภัย อาจต้องนึกถึงว่าสัตว์บางตัวต้องการอยู่บนเตียงที่นุ่มสบาย สัตว์บางตัวชอบอาศัยอยู่ข้างนอกที่มีพื้นที่มากมายให้เดินหรือวิ่งเล่น สัตว์เลี้ยงบางตัวรู้สึกมีความสุขที่สุดเมื่ออยู่ในน้ำแต่บางตัวชอบอยู่แบบแห้งๆ

This week we will highlight a local animal charity each day. If you and your family want to check out the work that these organisations do, you can follow the links to learn about how they rescue, care for and give happy lives to Thai animals in need.

Big animals need our help, too! So, today we are checking out Elephant Nature Park. It is a rescue center and sanctuary for rescued elephants in Chiang Mai. They have grown into an incredible organisation who looks after many reduced animals from around Thailand.

ทุกๆวันในสัปดาห์นี้เราจะแนะนำมูลนิธิที่ดูสัตว์ในพื้นที่ท้องถิ่นกันนะคะ ถ้าเด็กๆและผู้ปกครองอยากรู้ว่ามูลนิธินี้ทำงานกันอย่างไร เด็กๆสามารถกดไปที่ลิ้งค์เพื่อติดตามว่าสัตว์ในประเทศไทยเหล่านั้นได้รับการช่วยเหลือ การดูแล และได้รับความสุขในชีวิตมากขึ้นอย่างไร

Sensory and Wellbeing

Oobleck Paint

Guidance- English

This session you will be making and then using some very special paint.

You will need:

  • Cornflour
  • Water
  • Food colouring
  • Whisk

Watch Video 1 to show you how to make the paint.

You can then use this paint outside to make shapes and patterns.  Watch Video 2 for some ideas.

You can add more cornflour when you have finished painting and the paints turns into a substance that you can mould with.  Have fun!

ในบทเรียนนี้ เด็กๆจะได้ทำ สีน้ำพิเศษแบบอูบลิก และนำมันมาใช้กัน

สิ่งที่ต้องเตรียม:

  • แป้งข้าวโพด
  • น้ำเปล่า
  • สีผสมอาหาร
  • ที่ตีไข่

เด็กๆลองดูวิธีการทำสีได้จากวีดีโอที่ 1 ค่ะ

ทีนี้เราก็จะได้สีสำหรับวาดรูปทรงและแพทเทิร์นนอกบ้านแล้วค่ะ ลองดูไอเดียต่างๆในวีดีโอที่ 2 ด้วยนะคะ

เมื่อเด็กๆระบายสีเสร็จ เด็กๆสามารถ ใส่แป้งข้าวโพดเพิ่มได้ สียน้ำอแบบอูบลิกจะแข็งตัวมากขึ้น และเด็กๆสามรรถนำมันมาปั้นเป็นสิ่งต่างๆตามต้องการได้ ขอให้สนุกนะคะ
