Imaginative Stories
Today we are going to explore another favourite imaginative story, Not a Stick! In this story the main character uses his impressive imagination to play with a stick in a wide variety of ways. While you read this story, you can practice your predicting skills by guessing what the character is pretending his stick represents. Did you get any of your predictions right? What else could the stick represent?

Scavenger Hunts are a great way to encourage your child to become more aware of their environment. This activity involves going out into the garden and looking for things you might find when you are outside.
Have fun! Don’t forget to make a list of the things you think you might find in your garden. I wonder what you will find?

Bead Slide
Thread a few beads (or dried pasta or buttons) onto a string.
ร้อยลูกปัด(หรือเส้นพาสต้าที่เป็นปล้องหรือกระดุม)จำนวนหนึ่งด้วยเชือก
Adults, think of a list of 2 or 3 phoneme words or use some of these:
ผู้ปกครอง ให้ลองนึกถึงคำศัพท์สัก 2-3 คำ หรือจะใช้ในศัพท์ด้านล่างนี้ก็ได้เช่นกัน
Choose one of the words and alongside your child, move a bead for each sound in the word. For example, ‘home.’ h - move one bead, o - move one bead, m - move one bead.
เลือก 1 คำพร้อมช่วยเด็กๆในการเลื่อนลูกปัด ตัวอย่างเช่น คำว่า ‘home’ เมื่อเด็กออกเสียง ‘h’ เลื่อนลูกปัดไปอีกด้าน 1 ชิ้น เมื่อออกเสียง ‘o’ ให้เลื่อนลูกปัดไปต่อ เมื่อออกเสียง ‘m’ ให้เลื่อนลูกปัดไปต่อตามจำนวนเสียงที่มีในคำศัพท์นั้น
