These are some ideas for learning at home today. A reminder that you don't have to do all (or any) of these today. Maintaining a routine and a connection with school are the most important things!
This week in Foundation Stage we are going to Play...
For parents: How did it feel to follow Ms Sarah’s advice when playing with your child yesterday? Did you find it challenging to take a back seat and let the child lead? This can be difficult for us all! Remember, higher attainment is achieved through higher engagement so if the child feels they are in charge of their own learning (play), then they will be more deeply involved in their learning process.

Dear children: I wonder how you played yesterday? I wonder what toys and tools you used, I wonder what ideas you explored, I wonder if your play had a story? How will you play today? I wonder if you’ll explore a new idea or carry on with yesterday’s play. Maybe you’ll be inspired by Stanley’s Stick - can you find a stick and think of lots of creative ways to play with it?

Sensory Play!
This activity encourages your child to use their eyes to focus on what they can see, engaging their senses and their listening skills. Finding the objects promotes a sense of accomplishment and the feeling of achieving a goal. This is a great activity for developing attention and listening skills.
